You think of an SMS now, but for some strange reason you need to send it in the 10 minutes it from now. Its an itch and here’s the scratch - Sansango’s Delayed SMS Sender. It does one thing and does it well: choose a contact, set the delay, write the message and press “Send”. Quick, simple, effective. Itch scratched!
Download a free trial today and try it out for yourself. You may not need it everyday, but you will miss it when you do! So why take a risk?

Thanks for posting this! As motivation for your readers, I figured I’d point a link back to an entry I wrote a year ago about why this tool needs to exist:
Romantic, Practical, and Geeky uses for Time-Delayed SMS
Hopefully for your sake people will start linking to your article so you can take over the first Google spot for time-delayed SMS.
The only question I have is how much does your tool cost?

Hi Jared,
Thanks for the link :)
Sending an SMS in the future is really useful for lots of reasons as you point out in your post. DelayesSMSSender is available for $5.99 from Handango.

can any one tell me why my messages are deleted when I exit the application or reboot my phone.
I love the idea had something similar on my 2K3 device but this one only seems to work if A, you do not exit the application, or B you do not reboot the phone before the message is sent. I would pay for this if it were not for these two small bugs but maybe that is just a limitation in the trial program…please please say it is.

Hi Conan,
I’m afraid to say that those two limitations are indeed present in the full application. I understand that you find them annoying (so do I!) and will be removing them when I release a new version which should be due in a couple of weeks.
Thanks for your feedback and for trying Delayed SMS Sender :)

Hi, has the new version been released?

Hello all,
Delayed SMS Sender 2.0 is out and it now supports sending the SMS in the background! In the previous editions when you closed the application or restarted the phone the pending SMSs would not be sent. In this new edition Delayed SMS Sender has been rewritten to support this much requested functionality.
The new edition is available for free for customers of the previous editions.
